On December 19, 2024, the Dongguan Labor Union, led by Chen Weipeng and Wang Weixiong, visited the “Wei Shiyong Model Worker and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio”. The delegation was particularly impressed by CATO's outstanding performance in the electronic vehicle and aerospace industries, where its direct drive technology has significantly enhanced the productive efficiency of machining centers. CATO's products are highly popular in these sectors, showcasing its robust R&D capabilities and embodying the spirits of model workers and craftsmen.

Dongguan Labor Union Party Leadership Group member and Auditing Committee member Chen Weipeng, Labour Protection Department minister Wang Weixiong visited the “Wei Shiyong Model Worker and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio” . The visit is aiming at training and developing high-skilled workers in particular industries, encouraging the people to play a leading role in inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Visit to the Studio and Workshop
The visit commenced with a tour of the studio, where the delegation was introduced to the progress of the research being conducted and visited the workshop of CATO. The innovation projects and the related achievements were also introduced in detail.
Since its establishment, Wei Shiyong Model Worker and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio has focused on innovation and talent cultivation, taking part in the researches pertaining to machining centers.
